I have to admit that I didn't know what to expect from an alleged punk band with no previous full-length releases and a name derived from a Jack Kerouac autobiography.
The vibrant throngs had amassed in front of Madison Square Garden five hours before the doors were scheduled to open, cascading over steps and railings well into a habitually busy 38th Street.
Maybe it was the more than pathetic turnout at the De La Soul concert that set me off. Or it could have been the dismal attendance at the 2 Skinee J's concert that really got my blood pumping.
