Despite a sluggish start in its NCAA tournament regional semifinal, Duke was dominant in its 74-47 victory against No. 3 seeded St.
After a sluggish start in Fresno, No. 2 seeded Duke was dominant in a 74-47 victory against No. 3 seeded St. John’s at Save Mart Center Saturday night.
Playing its sixth road game of the season, No. 4 Duke recorded a dominant 18-8 victory over Virginia Tech (4-4, 0-2 in the ACC), notching its fifth straight win to remain perfect in ACC play.
Duke’s win last night was one that came down to the final minutes, and one that came in spite of the team’s cold shooting.
Following a dominant 25-3 win over Bucknell this past weekend, No. 5 Duke is feeling confident and ready to take on William & Mary today in Williamsburg, Va at 3 p.m.
After advancing to the semifinals of last year’s NCAA tournament, Duke is ready to make a run at a national title this May.
