The Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational pitted Duke against a trio of top-25 teams — No. 19 Alabama, No. 18 Notre Dame and No. 15 Indiana — along with host Louisville. In their first spring regatta led by head coach Adrian Spracklen, the Blue Devils secured gold in all 10 of its races.

In their first ACC Tournament game this season, the third-seeded Blue Devils secured a 61-48 victory to knock No. 6-seed Louisville out of the bracket. The veteran-rookie duo of junior Ashlon Jackson and freshman Toby Fournier bolstered the team's score as junior Taina Mair initiated critical shifts on the defensive end — leading Duke’s stat sheet with three steals and four defensive rebounds.

Overcoming a game-long battle to clear the ball and find an offensive rhythm, a hat trick from senior midfielder Andrew McAdorey, a career-best game for sophomore long-stick midfielder Mac Christmas and a commanding effort at the faceoff by junior Luke Engelke powered a game that left their undefeated record intact.
