Community Standard updated after questions raised about campus developments related to Israel-Hamas war

Duke to pay $24 million to settle financial aid antitrust lawsuit, denies allegations of wrongdoing

Duke acquires Blue Light Living apartment complex

Plans to acquire Blue Light were first initiated in the summer of 2023, when “Duke Student Affairs and Duke Real Estate were first made aware of the opportunity to work with Blue Light’s management,” according to Mary Pat McMahon, vice provost and vice president for student affairs.

Duke Early Decision acceptance rate falls to 12.9% for Class of 2028 after nearly 30% increase in applications

Duke student involved with campus overdose death sentenced to 3 months in federal prison

Patrick Rowland was charged for using a cell phone to distribute cocaine and marijuana from September 2022 to March 2023, after both he and UNC first-year Elizabeth Grace Burton overdosed on cocaine laced with fentanyl in a Kilgo common room on March 9.

University receives $100M award from Duke Endowment to mark centennial

Academic Council considers proposal to turn Duke-Margolis Center into University institute

Duke paints over pro-Palestine slogan on East Campus bridge after receiving concerns about antisemitism
