‘Hold both individuals and organizations accountable’: Panhel, some chapters respond to virus spike

Duke’s Panhellenic Association condemned violations of the University’s COVID-19 protocols and emphasized the organization’s commitment to accountability in a statement to The Chronicle on Monday evening. Panhel wrote that the University “should hold both individuals and organizations accountable for COVID-safety violations,” but did not name Durham IFC when criticizing infractions of Duke’s community standards.

Vaccine timelines vary at Duke's peer schools

While many members of the Duke community are beginning to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations, the distribution timelines of Duke’s peer institutions are widely varied. On one end of the spectrum, schools such as Yale University are anticipating that every member of the student body will have the opportunity to be vaccinated by the end of the spring semester. On the other end, Cornell University is struggling to provide access to its student workers.
