It would be easy to dismiss Duke’s win over Army as an early-season, out-of-conference romp. But the Blue Devils have a lot to feel proud about, with the offense clicking and all the little parts shining in the same game.
The Blue Devils defeated Army in a dominating 44-3 victory Saturday afternoon at Michie Stadium.
In the third quarter Saturday, Duke lost key defensive cogs Kyler Brown, Deondre Singleton and Carlos Wray go down within just a few plays of one another. None of the Blue Devils returned to action.
