Five takeaways from Friday morning's talk with administrators about COVID-19

A panel of Duke leaders discussed COVID-19 and campus life Friday morning in one of the first live discussions regarding the pandemic since the University shifted online in March. The panel discussion, which was livestreamed on YouTube, included President Vincent Price, Provost Sally Kornbluth and Executive Vice President Tallman Trask and was hosted by Valerie Ashby, dean of Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.

Duke Compact detailed, will be emailed to community Tuesday

As the fall semester begins amid the coronavirus pandemic, members of the Duke community will have to agree to the Duke Compact, the text of which is included in a Monday evening news release. The agreement includes commitments to wear a mask in public and participate in COVID-19 testing, contact tracing and self-reporting of symptoms.
