The Brodie Recreation Center will reopen today, October 18th, according to a Monday morning email from Duke Recreation & Physical Education.
The gym, which is located on East Campus, will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. These hours are limited compared to those of Wilson Recreation Center, which is open from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the weekends.
Gym goers will have access to Brodie's Cardio equipment, weight equipment, core and strength area (the gym's former racquetball room) and multipurpose room, according to the email.
The email also noted that anyone using Brodie gym will be required to swipe in at the front desk using their DukeCard. Just like in any campus building, masks will be required.
Changes in operating hours will be communicated via email, social media and the Duke Recreation & Physical Education website.
