Make that two current Blue Devils under the CAA Basketball umbrella.
Duke freshman wing AJ Griffin has joined CAA Basketball for representation purposes. The agency will assist the New York native on all things NIL, similar to the agreement that Blue Devil forward Paolo Banchero reached with the agency late last month.
Griffin joining CAA Basketball coincides with JJ Redick, the all-time leader in scoring for Duke and a CAA client himself, retiring from the NBA Tuesday morning. With that, Griffin is the fourth Blue Devil to partner with CAA Basketball, along with Banchero, Zion Williamson and Luke Kennard.
Williamson gave Griffin a shout out via Twitter when the news broke.
