Duke women's basketball had been lucky enough to play its first four games this season without an interruption.
That was bound to change eventually.
The Blue Devils' upcoming matchup with Miami, scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m., was postponed, per a team release. The release stated that the postponement follows Friday's announcement that Louisville had paused all team activities due to a positive COVID-19 test within the program and subsequent contact tracing within Duke's program.
Duke played Louisville in Cameron Indoor Stadium Wednesday night.
It's unclear whether the Blue Devils and Hurricanes will attempt to reschedule their matchup.
The release added that "Duke will next travel to N.C. State Sunday, Dec. 20" for the team's next scheduled contest.
