An armed robbery attempt was reported Monday night at approximately 10:56 p.m. in the Wannamaker fire lane, according to a DukeAlert issued at 11:38 p.m.
The robbery occurred near Towerview Road, according to the alert sent by Duke University Police Department. The alert did not specify if the victim was a student or not.
There are two suspects in the robbery. One is described as a "dark skin male, wearing [a] grey hoodie" and armed with a handgun. There was no description of the second suspect or the pair's car.
When called, DUPD's main line said that there was no additional information available at this time.
At the scene, police said that no arrests have been made and that the incident occurred at the end of the fire lane, which runs between Wannamaker Dorm and Keohane 4B.
