Duke's incoming freshmen had plenty of available jersey numbers to pick from with only seven players returning next season, and the team revealed their decisions on Twitter Tuesday night.
Trevon Duval will wear No. 1, Gary Trent Jr. will wear No. 2, Jordan Tucker will wear No. 5, Jordan Goldwire will wear No. 14, Alex O'Connell will wear No. 15 and Wendell Carter will wear No. 34.

Goldwire's No. 14 is the only new number that was not worn by a departing Blue Devil from last year's team. Brandon Ingram was the last No. 14 at Duke in 2015-16.
Duval could become the Blue Devils' fourth one-and-done to wear No. 1 this decade, and all six have big shoes to fill with some of the most productive jersey numbers in recent program history.
