Maryland transfer Lexie Brown and Rebecca Greenwell should give the Blue Devils one of the best backcourts in the country in 2016-17.

The Blue Devils’ nonconference schedule features three opponents that made the NCAA tournament in 2015, and their conference slate will not be any easier.

The ACC released the 2016-2017 women’s basketball schedule Thursday afternoon. Coming off an eighth-place finish in the ACC a year ago, the Blue Devils will meet four conference foes that reached at least the second round of last season's NCAA tournament.

After facing SEC powerhouses South Carolina and Kentucky toward the end of December, the Blue Devils will not have a much of break before they begin conference play against Louisville Jan. 2. Duke’s next major test will come on the road against Florida State Jan. 8 before the Blue Devils travel to South Bend, Ind., to face perennial title contender Notre Dame Jan. 26.

Following the Louisville game, the Blue Devils' most notable home games will be against Syracuse—which reached the Final Four last year—and Miami Feb. 10 and Feb. 19, respectively.

Like every year, Duke will meet in-state rival North Carolina twice, hosting the Tar Heels at Cameron Indoor Stadium Jan. 12 before concluding the regular season in Chapel Hill Feb. 26.

The team’s full conference schedule is below.
