Although Harvard had made no official announcement as of late Monday night, Duke associate head coach Jeff Capel congratulated Sotsky—a former Blue Devil manager—on Twitter.

A 2015 Duke graduate, Sotsky helped the Blue Devil staff with scouting, recruiting and videos last season after serving as a manager for four years. During his time as a student, Sotsky coached the Duke managers in their games against the North Carolina team managers in 2013 and 2014. The Blue Devils won on a buzzer beater in 2013 and got in a scuffle with the Tar Heels in 2014 before falling in Chapel Hill.
