For the first time since the 2011-12 campaign, the Blue Devils will have a player wear the jersey No. 0 next season.

Swingman Jayson Tatum will wear No. 0 next year, the program announced on Twitter Friday evening, becoming the first player to wear the number since Austin Rivers. Highly-touted power forward Harry Giles will wear No. 1, dynamic guard Frank Jackson will wear No. 15, forward Javin DeLaurier will wear No. 12 and Australian guard Jack White will wear No. 41.

It appears that no Duke players will wear No. 14 or No. 40 next season, the numbers worn last year by swingman Brandon Ingram—who declared for the NBA Draft—and graduate student Marshall Plumlee. Giles will join Kyrie Irving and Jabari Parker as only the third player to wear No. 1 for the Blue Devils.
