Ahead of Duke's road game Saturday at Virginia, the Blue Devils released their weekly injury report, which is below:
PROBABLE
QB Thomas Sirk (upper body)
QUESTIONABLE
RB Shaun Wilson (leg)
OUT FOR SEASON
LB Kelby Brown (leg)
CB Bryon Fields (leg)
DT Zach Morris (leg)
OG Cody Robinson (upper body)
DE Taariq Shabazz (leg)
Breakdown: Both Sirk and Wilson were upgraded this week from last week's game against Pittsburgh. Sirk was listed as questionable heading into last week's contest but ended up sitting out due to the upper body injury and watching Parker Boehme make his first career start under center. The return of Sirk to the huddle should give the Duke offense some more familiarity, which is exactly what the unit needs in the aftermath of the dismissal of starting wide receiver Johnell Barnes and reserve wide out Terrence Alls earlier this week. If Wilson can recover enough to be on the field Saturday, the dynamic sophomore could inject some life into the offense with his play-making ability, though he likely will not be at 100 percent.
