The Chronicle's Brian Pollack and Meredith Cash break down another lopsided exhibition win for No. 5 Duke, this time against Division II Livingstone. Freshman Luke Kennard scored 25 points after being inserted into the starting lineup and classmate Brandon Ingram added 24, but the Blue Devils got a second straight bout of bad news when senior captain Amile Jefferson rolled his left ankle early in the game and did not return. Duke lost Matt Jones to a groin injury in its exhibition opener.
Stay tuned to the Blue Zone and @dukebasketball on Twitter for updates on the health of Jefferson and Jones as the season opener nears Nov. 13 against Siena.
