ESG endorses Mecklai and Guarco

Engineering Student Government is proud to announce its endorsements for the 2015 Duke Student Government elections. After careful consideration of each candidate’s proposals for Duke, ESG agreed that Keizra Mecklai and John Guarco have ideas that best encompass the interests of Duke’s student body. Both of these candidates stood out as leaders who can effectively speak for all Duke students, and the engineering community in particular.

For the office of DSG President, Engineering Student Government endorses Keizra Mecklai, who has shown a dedication to campus improvement and makes an active effort to connect with students. We are encouraged by Keizra’s commitment to fostering collaboration between ESG and DSG.

For the office of Executive Vice President, we endorse John Guarco. We are impressed by his goal of focusing on both internal affairs and external affairs. ESG also supports John’s goal to increase the voice of Pratt within Duke Student Government.
