The Duke Panhellenic Association chooses to endorse Anna Knight due to her strong platform and exceptional qualifications. We received unanimous endorsements from each of our 10 chapters, which determined the Panhellenic-wide endorsement.
As a Panhellenic woman, we feel that Anna Knight will most actively represent the needs of our community. She is attentive to women’s issues on campus and will actively seek to improve the Duke experience for all women. We feel as though she has a strong understanding of Duke culture and policies. We appreciated her knowledge of Duke academics and her willingness to adapt to changing times.
In addition, we are excited about Anna Knight’s presence in Durham for the coming years. Knight shows a long-term commitment to the role of Young Trustee. As she will be continuing her education here at Duke to earn her Ph.D. in Engineering, we believe that she will be an effective and accessible Young Trustee.
There has not been a Panhellenic woman in the role of Young Trustee since 2004, and the Duke Panhellenic Association would be honored to see a member of our community fulfill this position.
