Duke football injury report: Memphis

As the Blue Devils prepare to take on Memphis at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium Saturday at 4:30 p.m., Duke released its weekly injury report. Here’s a rundown of the players are listed on the injury report this week:

DOUBTFUL

DE Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo (leg)

LB C.J. France (lower body)

OUT

RE Eric Adams (upper body)

OT Casey Blaser (hand)

CB Jared Boyd (leg)

DE Britton Grier (upper body)

QB Thomas Sirk (leg)

WR Jack Wise (upper body)

OUT FOR SEASON

OT Tanner Stone (leg)

Breakdown: Little change from Duke's Week 1 injury report against N.C. Central. Both defensive end Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo and linebacker C.J. France were upgraded to doubtful this week, but neither will likely suit up this weekend against Memphis. Both continue to make progress in their respective rehabilitations and are likely aiming to return next week against Georgia Tech or Sept. 21 against Pittsburgh.

Otherwise, not much to report for the Blue Devils. Walk-on running back Eric Adams was the only addition to this week's injury report. He sustained an upper body injury in the fourth quarter of Duke's 45-0 victory against N.C. Central and will not play this week. Adams is also a member of the Blue Devils' kickoff team.
