A student was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning while walking alone on Main Street, according to a DukeALERT sent to the Duke community.
The individual, a graduate student, was approached at 1:50 a.m. by three teenaged black males wearing white shirts. They showed the student a small black handgun, demanded money and were last seen fleeing campus. Chief of Duke Police John Dailey said that the suspected robbers took cash from the student.
The student was not injured, the DukeALERT said, and remained unnamed in the message.
