In anticipation of students sleeping out for today's Duke-Miami basketball game, Cameron Crazies were allowed to tent in Krzyzewskiville beginning Tuesday for tonight's game.
Although students often wait out for a day or two before big games during the season, tenting is typically reserved for the annual Duke-North Carolina game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
An estimated 450 students were in Krzyzewskiville as of last night, head line monitor Bradley Baird said, meaning they had to spend at least a night braving the cold weather for today's game. Line monitors are the students who organize and regulate the student tent city. The capacity for the student section—Section 17—is 1,200. The remaining numbers have been filling up throughout the day today.
