At Duke, Miles Plumlee's theatrics were mostly focused on his skills riding a unicycle.
But Plumlee, now a forward with the Indiana Pacers, took his talents to national TV this week, cameoing on this week's episode of Parks and Recreation on NBC.
In the episode, Plumlee and fellow Pacer Roy Hibbert are seen at St. Elmo's Steakhouse in Indianapolis. A number of the characters on the show were at the steakhouse for a bachelor party and Hibbert pays for their meal, though not for Aziz Ansari's character, who Hibbert says owes him money.
Plumlee won a national championship in his sophomore season at Duke and was taken by the Pacers with the 26th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft.
St. Elmo's is one of Indianapolis's most famous restaurants. Plumlee doesn't say anything but is seen with Hibbert wearing a chic red cardigan. Here is a picture of Plumlee:
One of the other characters at St. Elmo's is played by actor Rob Lowe, whose son is a freshman at Duke. Lowe previously starred on the West Wing, where he played a lawyer who went to Duke Law. At the restaurant, they accidentally sit at the table of Newt Gingrich, who cameoed on the program.
Also as a part of the bachelor party, the guys visit Lucas Oil Stadium and hang out with Indianapolis Colts owner Jim owner Jim Irsay, wide receiver Reggie Wayne and quarterback Andrew Luck.
