Duke, 73; Ga Tech 57 (Final)

The Blue Devils got a strong performance from senior captain Seth Curry who finished the game with 24 points. Mason notched yet another double-double tallying 16 points and 12 rebounds on the night. Amile Jefferson got serious minutes in this game, deservingly so. He finished the contest with 10 rebounds and six points. The freshman got his long arms on a lot of passes and helped Duke on the offensive boards especially, allowing the Blue Devils second chances on a bunch of misses. Quinn Cook finishes the game seven points and the Crazies begin to stomp and chant: Our house, our house... The crowd 'boos' as Georgia Tech calls a last-minute timeout with 37 seconds left and Duke up 12. 'Drive home safely,' the Crazies yell. Seth Curry receives a standing ovation from the crowd  as he leaves the floor. Devils win!

Duke, 67; Ga Tech 55 (2:14 second half)

Sulaimon finishes on a fast-break layup with 6:09 to go in the game, and one. And he sinks the free-throw. As the shot clock runs down, Seth sinks an NBA-length three and Cameron is on its feet! Next play down the floor, Sulaimon finishes a soft lay-in and the noise index rises in the stadium. Mason flushes a dunk with three minutes to go to give the Blue Devils a 12 point lead.

Duke, 57; Ga Tech 44 (7:04 second half)

Plumlee getting pounded down low, but he continues to be aggressive. He's distributing the ball well to the perimeter. Jefferson collected nine rebounds in his time on the floor and receives a loud round-of-applause when he's taken off. Seth Curry gets hot from beyond the arc and hits a three for his 19th point of the game. Crazy Towel Guy goes wild.

Duke, 50; Ga Tech 36 (11:58 second half)

The momentum has completely shifted in Duke's favor since the break. Seth currently leads the Blue Devils with 16 points. Mason's hook shots are falling this half. Duke is currently shooting 40% from the field. The Blue Devils have scored 23 points since halftime as compared to Tech's eight.

Duke, 41; Ga Tech 31(15:33 second half)

Quinn hits his first shot of the game, a three. Mason finally gets a hook shot to fall with 18:30 left in the half and follows that up on the next possession with a strong layup down in the post. Mason gets six points in a row and the crowd is on their feet! Tech is forced to call a timeout to settle their guys down and stop the momentum that just shifted in Duke's favor. Curry gets his 11th point of the game with 16:32 remaining to make the score 39-31, Duke. Mason has a double-double on the night and Coach K gets extremely animated, jumping up and down on the sideline. He runs out onto the court and jumps into Mason's arms as the Yellow Jackets call a timeout.

 

Duke, 27; Ga Tech 28 (end first half)

The Blue Devils are looking a bit out of control in the last few minutes of the first half as Thornton misses two three-point attempts. Curry finally seals the deal with a three with 2 minutes remaining. Jefferson is getting a lot of minutes this half, tipping balls and coming up with a lot of rebounds. He currently has 6. Duke runs time off the clock as the first half comes to a close. Jefferson takes it strong the basket for a layup. The Blue Devils end the half down one, but with the momentum in their favor. Jefferson chest-bumps Sulaimon as the team runs off the court and Sulaimon just about loses his balance.

Duke, 19; Ga Tech 26 (3:24 first half)

Curry gets his first basket of the game with 7:07 remaining in the first half on a three. Bolden currently leading the Yellow Jackets on offense with 11 points, only one point off his season-high. Mason continues to be cold with the hook shots down low. He's being aggressive and separating himself from the 6' 11'' Miller and 6' 8" Carter, Jr. but is having trouble finishing.

Duke, 16; Ga Tech 17 (7:46 first half)

A few Georgia Tech turnovers result in Duke fast-break chances and Curry takes advantage as he sinks his two free throws to make the score 13-15. Jefferson getting some big minutes for the Blue Devils, playing aggressive defense with his long arms. Sulaimon gets his first points of the game in a three-pointer right in front of the Tech bench and Cameron gets loud.

Duke, 10 ; Ga Tech, 15 (11:15 first half) Alex Murphy getting some solid minutes for the Blue Devils. Mason is not only attacking for Duke but also distributing down low. Carter, Jr. went to the line for three shots and missed all three and the Cameron Crazies go wild.

Duke, 2; Ga Tech, 9 (15:54 first half): Duke wins tip-off. Plumlee with a strong post move on the inside for the first shot of the game, misses. Tech scores first, a three from Chris Bolden. Josh Hairston with the first foul of the game after he misses a layup on a steal. Georges-Hunt with two for the Yellow Jackets. Plumlee scores first Duke basket with strong hook shot, and he almost makes it two, but the ball spins out. Mason draws a charge on Chris Bolden. Bolden's shot good though. Amile Jefferson comes in to replace Hairston at 16:32 left in the first half. Jefferson with some strong rebounds for the Blue Devils. Mason to the line for two. Timeout.
