Duke basketball's Sulaimon, Plumlee earn ACC honors

Here's something Duke basketball fans might get used to hearing a lot of this season: Rasheed Sulaimon and Mason Plumlee earned ACC weekly honors.

Plumlee shared the ACC Player of the Week award with Virginia Tech's Erick Green while 'Sheed earned the conference Rookie of the Week award.

Plumlee and 'Sheed shined in both of Duke's wins last week. Plumlee recorded double-doubles in the Blue Devils' victories against then-No. 4 Ohio State and Delaware. On the season, he is averaging 19.6 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game while making 65.4% of his shots from the field.

Sulaimon scored 31 points combined in Duke's two games, including a 17-point second half effort against the Buckeyes after he went scoreless in the first 20 minutes. The 6-foot-4 freshman guard is averaging 12.9 points per game this season.
