At 5-1, the Duke football team kicks off against Virginia Tech at 12:30 p.m. in Blacksburg, looking for the team's first bowl berth since the 1994 season. While the Blue Devils are off to their best start since that bowl campaign, the Hokies sit at 3-3 and are off to their worst start since 1992—the last season they didn't make a bowl game under head coach Frank Beamer.
