Duke sophomore wide receiver Blair Holliday suffered head injuries on July 4 after being involved with in a jet ski accident with fellow wide receiver Jamison Crowder.

Holliday's former high school teammate, Iowa State receiver Brett Medders, broke the news after the accident Holliday was in a coma via twitter. July 9, former Duke point guard Nolan Smith tweeted that Holliday opened his eyes and gave a thumbs up.
