A trio of Duke seniors received all-ACC honors Thursday for the women's lacrosse team. Blue Devils Emma Hamm, Mollie Mackler, and Kim Wenger each earned a spot on the 18-member team.
Hamm, a three-time honoree, leads the ACC with 75 draw controls this season, breaking her own program record of 70 from the 2011 season. She also leads No. 6 Duke (10-5, 3-2 in the ACC) with 18 caused turnovers and has tallied 17 goals and 17 assists thus far.
Leading the conference with 6.80 saves per game, Mackler earned her first all-ACC team honors and was the only goalie named to the squad. The senior has allowed just 8.54 goals per game this season—good for eighth nationally.
Receiving her second consecutive all-conference accolade, Wenger has scored 21 goals and earned 42 draw controls on the year—both career highs. In conference play, the midfielder ranks second in the ACC in assists per game with 1.40 and has totaled a team-high 12 points.
