Duke lost 62-59 to Florida State at Philips Arena, but the season continues for head coach Mike Krzyzewski and his team. Several key questions remain for the Blue Devils heading into tomorrow's NCAA tournament selection show, and the tournament itself, which begins Thursday. Here are some tidbits on the coming week from Krzyzewski following Duke's Saturday defeat:
- On Ryan Kelly's health: "Today he was in a regular shoe. There's a protective device which they call a clamshell that we had specifically made, and a shank put in the shoe where he can get into his normal walk.... Even if he can't play a lot, if he can play at the end of games—he's been a key performer for us at the end of games, so we're optimistic."
- On the team's potential seeding in the NCAA tournament: "If we go to Greensboro—we probably will. I would think—not to predict—but we'd be a two seed in Greensboro."
- On his to-do list for Sunday: "Hopefully get our kids healthy, get Ryan Kelly healthy, and take my dog for a walk. I haven't seen Blue for about five days, and I think that hurt me today. It hurt me today. I'm going to take him on road trips from now on."
