The second-seeded Duke Blue Devils will tip off at the ACC tournament Friday at 7 p.m. against the winner of Clemson and Virginia Tech who are seeded seventh and 10th, respectively. All of the games will be played at Phillips Arena in Atlanta.
The top-four seeds in the tournament -- No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Florida State and No. 4 Virginia -- all received first-round byes and begin on Friday, while the other eight squads start Thursday.
Should the Blue Devils advance beyond the quarterfinals, they would play at 3 p.m. Saturday against the winner of the Seminoles vs. No. 6 Miami/No. 11 Georgia Tech. The championship game takes place Saturday at 1 p.m. before the NCAA selection show at 6 p.m.
The Tar Heels, who defeated Duke for the ACC regular season title Saturday, will face the winner of No. 8 Maryland and No. 9 Wake Forest before a potential second round showdown against the No. 4 Cavaliers.
