First pitch is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at Jack Coombs Field.
The Fighting Camels (2-1) finished in the Atlantic Sun cellar last season with a 17-37 record, plagued by a team ERA of 7.11. They split two midweek games against Duke in 2011, though, losing 9-2 and winning 4-1.
Blue Devil sophomore Robert Huber was named ACC pitcher of the week after holding the Longhorns to two hits in six scoreless innings and striking out six in Duke’s first win of the year.
Jeff Kremer spurred the Blue Devil offense with a 5-for-11 performance at the plate. The junior hit .347 last season, splitting time between catching and designated hitter duties.
Third baseman Kyle Holmstrom led Campbell in its series win over Marist last weekend, going 8-for-13 at the plate as the Fighting Camels scored 26 runs in the three games.
The game is part of an opening stretch that features eight games in 10 days for the Blue Devils.
