The three top performers in the ACC from Week 2:
1) Kevin Parks, running back, Virginia
Parks overall statistics were not startling—just 37 yards rushing on 11 carries—but the running back was a beast in the red-zone for the Cavaliers. Parks scored two touchdowns in Virginia's three point victory over Indiana, a big win over a Big-10 foe for a program that has struggled recently.
2) EJ Manuel, quarterback, Florida State
Manuel showed why Florida State is a national title contender and he may be the best quarterback in the ACC in a blowout over Charleston, throwing for 329 yards and four touchdowns. The 329-yards was a career-high for Manuel.
3) Stephen Hill, wide receiver, Georgia Tech
Georgia's Tech underrated passing game came up with big plays for the second straight week, highlighted by Hill's 126 yards on only three receptions. Hill's day included a 71 yard touchdown pass, and the Yellow Jackets blew out Mid Tennessee State.
And the worst:
Chase Rettig, quarterback, Boston College
The Eagles may be the only ACC team having as bad a start to this year as the Blue Devils, epitomized by Rettig's effort in a surprising 30-3 loss to Central Florida. Rettig completed only 10-of-23 passes and threw two interceptions. The more glaring statistic, however, is that Rettig only amassed 70 yards through the air on those 10 completions for a paltry seven yard average.
