Ludacris is not the only superstar hitting campus this semester.
Award-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco will perform at Erwin Park on Central Campus March 31, the Duke University Union Major Attractions committee announced Monday night. Fiasco’s concert will mark the first time the baseball field of the park is being used to host a concert, according to a DUU press release.
Pre-sold student tickets will cost $25 each and will go on sale March 21. The general public will be able to purchase tickets at $35 each March 23. Tickets sold at the door will cost $40.
The event will begin at 8 p.m., and doors will open at 7 p.m. Erwin Park is located on 200 Oregon Street.
Fiasco’s “Superstar” reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100, and his most recent single “The Show Goes On” from his recently-released album “Lasers” is currently listed as 39 on the list.
This does not mark the first time Fiasco was set to come to campus. The performer was set to perform at the Last Day of Classes in 2008, but his agent canceled his visit to allow Fiasco to tour with rapper Kanye West.
