Singler, Thomas Named Finalists for Lowe's Award

Generic Script

Kyle Singler and Jasmine Thomas were named finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award today. According to the press release, the award rewards excellence off the court:

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence - community, classroom, character and competition.

Joining Singler on the list are such illustrious names as E'Twaun Moore, Jimmer Fredette and Matt Howard. But Duke fans will notice that Nolan Smith, who is leading the ACC in points and assists, is conspicuously absent.

Fnas can vote daily on the Senior Class award website.
