It didn't take long for an Internet-led movement to spring up about Kyrie Irving's toe injury. And, fortunately, it contains many puns on the word "toe."
It's called savekyriestoe.com, and it has a YouTube video accompanying it, with men and women wearing shirts reminiscent of the Red campaign. The participants' shirts have phrases like "Mistle(toe)," "Tictac(toe)" and "Toma(toe)s." To our delight, one of Irving's Twitter catchphrases, "SMH," is used.
The video is only at about 300 views right now, but the man himself, Irving, has taken notice. The freshman tweeted about 30 minutes ago:
lol i swear this video just cheered me up....watch
The skeptic would say that the movement does not seem to offer many concrete solutions to the freshman's injury—none in the YouTube video claim any medical expertise, and there's no mention about what Duke should do in Irving's absence.
To which we reply, yes, but how can we get those t-shirts?
