Kyrie Irving, who scored 21 points against Butler Saturday, sprained his toe and is in day-to-day condition, associate sports information director Matt Plizga told The Chronicle Monday.
The freshman was injured late in the second half against Butler and had to leave the court for a brief amount of time. Irving is in a walking boot now, and Plizga said he is "doubtful" that Irving will be 100 percent against Bradley Wednesday.
Irving won his third ACC rookie of the week award Monday after his 31-point performance against Michigan State and 17 second-half points Saturday in East Rutherford.
UPDATE: Irving is unlikely to play Wednesday, according to the (Raleigh) News & Observer. More information is likely to come later today.
