Bad news for Duke fans: Kyrie Irving has moved from the walking boot to the hard cast.
Duke sports information just announced that the freshman sensation—who was averaging 17.4 points per game before he went down last week against Butler—had his right foot placed in a hard cast, "completely immobilizing the foot."
It was done, according to the announcement, to "completely rest the area and allow for optimal healing."
