Head coach David Cutcliffe on Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly, who finished the day with 21 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery:
He's big, he's fast, he doesn't make any mistakes. I want him to retire early. If he weren't such a great kid, I'd say he was on steroids.
Cutcliffe also said that Kuechly is "without question" the best defensive football player in college football and will vote for him at the end of the season for the Bronko Nagurski Award, given annually to the best defensive player.
