Duke's matchup versus No. 1 Alabama Saturday isn't getting any easier.
ESPN.com reported today that last year's Heisman Trophy winner, running back Mark Ingram, has been cleared to play this weekend in Wallace Wade Stadium. Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban said that Ingram will indeed play and is "ready to go."
Ingram's backup, sophomore Trent Richardson has had success in Ingram's normal role, averaging 6.6 yards per carry during the Heisman winner's absence. Saban seemed to sidestep a question regarding who the starting running back would be, saying, "We don't look at it as... whether he starts or doesn't start."
