Associate head coach Chris Collins' father, Doug, was picked up by the 76ers yesterday as their new head coach. It's Doug's first coaching job since being fired by the Washington Wizards in 2003.
Of course, the possibility has come up of whether son Chris will follow his father to Philadelphia any time soon. Chris, for one, has worked to dispel this sentiment, tweeting this yesterday...
"Thanks for all of the well-wishes for my dad…He will do very well in Philly. For those who have asked, I will still be at Duke next year!"
... And gave no indication that he was going to Philadelphia during David Glenn's radio show yesterday afternoon.
