Your Pocket Guide to Duke-Clemson

The No. 7 Blue Devils (11-1) kick off ACC conference play tonight against No. 21 Clemson (12-2) at 7:45 p.m. Here are three things to know before watching tonight's game:

1. Junior Nolan Smith is seeking revenge. Smith called last year's 74-47 loss to Clemson on Feb. 4 the worst game of basketball he's experienced at any level. Look for the junior to come out playing inspired basketball and—hopefully for the Blue Devils—pick up where he left off last game. Against Penn the guard had 23 points on 8-for-11 shooting including four 3-pointers.

2. Durham has been tough to the Tigers. Clemson hasn't defeated Duke in Durham since Jan. 4, 1995 when—get this—Rick Barnes was coaching his first contest in ACC conference play as Clemson's head coach. And historically, the Tigers are just 4-54 in games played in Cameron.

3. Duke will be looking to score in bunches. The Blue Devils are fifth in the NCAA in scoring with 86.9 points per game including 52.5 points per contest between Smith, Jon Scheyer and Kyle Singler.
