According to ESPN's Andy Katz, prized point guard recruit John Wall might be leaning toward Kentucky or Miami, but other influential people in his life--particularly his club team coach and one of his advisers, Brian Clifton--would prefer he play for Mike Krzyzewski at Duke.
In a piece detailing what Wall's four top schools, Duke, Miami, Kentucky, and Florida, would look like if he joined their rosters next year, Katz says Clifton's advice may sway Wall one way or the other. Wall is widely thought to be considering jumping to the NBA after just one college season, and Clifton hopes Duke's experience taking care of its players--through closed practice sessions, tight control of appearances with the media, and the general prestige of the program--would help Wall most in the long run.
Clifton will probably represent Wall in the 2010 NBA Draft, so the pair seems to have all eyes on Wall's eventual departure for the pros.
