Citing two unnamed NBA sources, WRAL reported Monday morning that Duke junior Gerald Henderson will forego his final year of eligibility to declare for the NBA Draft, but multiple Duke officials refuted the report to The Chronicle, claiming that Henderson is still evaluating his options.
"He's still trying to figure out what he'll end up doing," said team spokesman Matt Plizga, who added that he doesn't anticipate a decision until right before the deadline to declare, April 26.
