After a rocky start to the season, Duke has won four straight games, including a morale-boosting win against rival North Carolina Saturday.
Tonight at 7 p.m., the No. 8 Blue Devils have a chance to build on that success and earn their best win of the season. Duke welcomes No. 3 Cornell (3-1) to Koskinen Stadium for the teams' first matchup since the 2007 Final Four. The Blue Devils (6-2) pulled out a close win that year before falling to Johns Hopkins in the championship game.
After the Blue Devils outscored the then-No. 8 Tar Heels 9-4 in the second half, midfielder Justin Turri was named ACC player of the week, largely as a result of his four-point performance in that contest.
The Big Red dropped a 14-10 decision to top-ranked Virginia March 8, but recovered by crushing Canisius last week.
