Before the season, Chante Black was named one of five 1st Team All-ACC players.
Twenty-eight games later, the ACC rewarded the senior with the same honor.
Black was named to the All-ACC first team Monday in a vote by the ACC's Blue Ribbon panel. Senior Abby Waner was one of five players to earn an honorable mention nod.
Black helped Duke to a 24-4 regular-season finish, including an 11-3 ACC mark that gave the Blue Devils sole possession of third place in the league. The 6-foot-5 center averaged 14.8 points and 8.6 rebounds, ranked third in the league with 61 blocks and registered 10 double-doubles.
Joining Black on the first team were Virginia's Monica Wright and Lyndra Littles and Maryland's Kristi Toliver and Marissa Coleman. The conference's individual honors will be released in the coming days.
