Duke University Student Dining Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that beginning this Monday, Feb. 16, both the Refectory and the Refectory at Duke Law will stay open until 3 p.m. so that hungry people coming out of class at 2:30 p.m. will be able to eat there for lunch.
These extended hours, however, will only be on a trial basis-if not enough students take advantage of the longer hours, the Refectory will not be able to justify staying open. The extended service will be limited, at least initially, to grab 'n go items, but the Refectory is willing to consider offering expanded options if there is sufficient demand. We encourage you to enjoy a late lunch at the Refectory locations next week. Let's show their wonderfully accommodating staff that we really do want this change to be permanent.
