Duke closed the three-day John Hayt Invitational in 15th place at the Sawgrass Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla.
Freshman Spencer Anderson and sophomore Wes Roach paced the Blue Devils on the final day of competition, as each shot a 2-over 74 to lead Duke to a 13-over finish Tuesday.
Duke started the day 5-under, but quickly dropped off the pace. Still, the Blue Devils posted their best score in three days, as they shot a 26-over Sunday and a 29-over Monday.
Roach led all Blue Devil golfers by finishing in 30th place with a 13-over 229.
Junior Adam Long followed Roach on the leaderboard, posting a 5-over 77 for the third straight round to finish tied for 44th.
Senior Clark Klaasen and sophomore Matthew Pierce carded 76s Wednesday and both finished tied for 68th with 22-over 238s.
Anderson, who tied with Roach for the team-low Wednesday, tied for 76th after his strong performance to close the tournament.
The Blue Devils return to the links for the third tournament of first-year head coach Jamie Green's tenure March 8 at the General Jim Hackler Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
