Worldwide Leader To Broadcast 3 Duke Games

They're not quite up to the level of Mike Krzyzewski's team, but John Danowski's Blue Devils won't be playing in obscurity, either.

Duke, a Final Four participant last season, will play twice on ESPNU and once on ESPN2 this season. Last year, the Blue Devils played six regular season games on ESPNU, the ACC tournament championship on FSN and three NCAA tournament games on ESPNU and ESPN2.

Danowski's team's will first be televised Feb. 28 against Maryland in Baltimore in the Face-Off Classic at M&T Bank Stadium. Duke and North Carolina's yearly game, this time in Chapel Hill on March 14, will be on ESPNU, and the team's ACC finale April 11 can be seen on ESPN2.

Six teams will play more televised regular season games than Duke this year. Johns Hopkins has eight games on television, followed by the ACC's Maryland with seven. Navy plays six telvised games, Princeton plays five and North Carolina and Virginia both have four.
