Could The ACC Feature Three No. 1 Seeds?

This year, the ACC has the opportunity to do something that has never been done: send three No. 1 seeds to the NCAA Tournament.

No. 1 Duke, No. 5 North Carolina and No. 6 Wake Forest have all been ranked No. 1 this year, and the trio has sat in the top five for most of the year, as well. Although Wednesday's matchup between the Blue Devils and Demon Deacons may shake up the battle up top, it has become clear that all three teams have chances to be No. 1 seeds in the postseason.

No league has ever featured three No. 1 seeds.

Caulton Tudor, a columnist for The (Raleigh) News & Observer, brings up the possibility in his Monday column, with help from Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski:

"We've had two a lot, a lot, a lot," Krzyzewski said. "But it could be [the top three right now]. Those three teams could hold their own against anybody, I'll tell you that. Which says a lot for the conference."

What do you think: Could the ACC send three No. 1 seeds to the Tournament?
