Ordinarily, beating the No. 14 team in the country after a 20-0 run to start the second half would qualify as a pretty good night for No. 8 Duke.
It's even better that it came in the Blue Devils' season opener.
And the night was topped off for Duke by a game that took place many miles away in Fort Worth, Texas, where TCU shocked No. 3 Maryland 80-68 in the two teams' openers. The Terrapins were selected to finish atop the ACC--and given Duke's impressive win, it could indicate a shift in power in the league after just one game.
